The World’s 50 Most Beautiful Countries (You Won’t Believe Where The U.S. Ranked)

A new study from the website money.co.uk aims to rank the 50 most beautiful countries in the world by analyzing the amount of natural wonders in each location, from coral reefs and tropical rainforests to volcanoes, glaciers and more.

Colombia has ranked third in the world among the countries with the greatest natural beauty, according to a list published by Forbes magazine. With a rating of 7.16 out of 10, the country entered the top along with Indonesia and New Zealand.

"Colombia ranks third and, like Indonesia and New Zealand, enjoys a long coastline along the Caribbean. However, it also has a very varied landscape, from the Andes mountains to the Amazon rainforest, and scores highly for the fact that it is home to 500,000 km2 of tropical rainforest," the money.co.uk study noted.

The geography of the Colombian territory, made up of mountains, tropical forests and its Amazon rainforest, once again placed the country among the highest qualifiers associated with its natural beauty.
